Mother’s Day is creeping up!  “Thank you captain obvious…”
If you’re responsible and have some extra cash I’m sure you have already picked out an amazing and perfect gift for your mom.  BUT if you are part of the majority (broke college student who procrastinates) here are some ideas you can quickly grab.
Let’s go back to the time when we were adorable kids.  You probably made a hideous card with scribbles for your mom even though she loved it and told you it was beautiful.  Well, she was probably telling the truth.  Mothers love the creativity and thoughtfulness of just about anything you give them.  So whip out the colored pencils and markers and decorate a card or insert a picture of you two!  It’s okay if you’re artistically challenged!  The most special part is the message you write inside the card.  Think of a memorable time that meant a lot to you or a funny story you both would never forget. Tell her how much you love and appreciate her-but put it in your own words.  Cards in stores have beautiful poetry and clever expressions and can be tailored to any mother out there. Moms will hear your voice in your own words and will  appreciate whatever you write for her.

If you’re fortunate enough to spend Mother’s Day with your mom, make her breakfast!  Check out Whiski Business  http://whiskibusiness.com/mothers-day-brunch-ideas/ for some delicious and simple recipes!
