I’m a cosmetic junkie, which means I love finding great cosmetic products to try out. It is an added bonus that I end up loving the products!

I have recently fallen in love with a brand of makeup called Tarte. I love this line because it is all natural. Most of the products are based with Amazonian clay, which minimizes oil and balances the skin beautifully. It also hydrates the skin, so my face stays moisturized by my makeup. I think that is pretty darn cool, if I do say so myself. I have started to collect quite a few products that I use in my everyday makeup routine and it is only my duty to share this knowledge with the collegiette world.

First off, start by using your favorite moisturizer. Different people have different skin types, so I don’t want to tell you what you should or shouldn’t use.

After I moisturize, I use Tarte’s Amazonian clay airbrush foundation. It is a powder foundation that is waterproof. That is basically a selling point in itself! It is a vegan product and it is hypoallergenic. I have very sensitive skin, so this foundation is absolutely perfect for me because it is very gentle on the skin. Just start by buffing it onto your face all over. I use the Tarte airbuki bamboo powder foundation brush.

Next, I use a bronzing and highlighting palette. It is called Don’t Be Afraid to Dazzle. I use a standard cheek brush to contour with the bronzer. I put this color underneath my cheekbones, around my hairline, down the sides of my nose, and along the bottom of my chin. The key to this step is to blend, blend some more, and then to top of the blending, blend again. You really want to avoid harsh lines to make the contour look more natural instead of harsh.

After I bronze, I use the champagne colored highlighter to brighten up my complexion. This is applied just above my cheekbones and above my eyebrows. I take a smaller brush and apply the highlighter down the center of my nose as well.

For blush, I really like Tarte’s Amazonian clay 12-hour waterproof blush in dazzled. It is a soft rosy color that looks gorgeous on the skin. I buff this onto the apple of my cheeks with a cheek brush.

Before I use concealer, I like to do my eyes because the leftover pigment from the eyeshadow can sometimes get stuck in the concealer to make it look like you have really bad bags under your eyes.

My all time favorite eyeshadow palette that I have ever used is the Tartelette In Bloom palette. There are so many different looks you can accomplish with just one palette, whether you want a subtle, natural look, or something with that wow factor for a night out. For my go-to everyday look, I use a crease brush to blend the sweetheart shade all over the crease. I then use a standard eyeshadow brush to add rebel to the lid. I use another brush to sweep funny girl into the inner crease and just below the brow to add a little highlight. Lastly, I sweep leader into the outer corner and onto the lower lash line.

Now that I have my eyes taken care of, I use the Amazonian clay waterproof 12-hour concealer. This is a compact little concealer that is so easy to take on the go when you need a touch up. It comes in a lipstick-like tube that can really fit anywhere. I apply it underneath my eyes because I have some pretty dark circles I like to cover up. I also use this to cover up any blemishes or breakouts that are on my skin. I just use a standard beauty blender to blend this in.

To complete my look, I use the best mascara ever known to man kind on the face of this planet. It is absolutely amazing in every single way possible.

Tarte’s 4-in-1 Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara lengthens and thickens the look of your lashes. They look borderline fake, in the best way possible. I don’t have enough great things to say about this product, and if you only use one product I have mentioned, let it be this. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

So there is is collegiettes. You now have all of the products to make your skin happy and look good too! This is my foolproof, go-to makeup routine, and I highly suggest you try out some Tarte products yourself. I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed.
