15 Symptoms of Being A “Christmas Starts In November” Person

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at App State chapter.

It’s my absolute favorite time of the year, the month & a half before Christmas! Halloween was fun and all, but November 1st signaled the beginning of the Christmas prep for me and I’m not even ashamed. If you think you might be one of these types of people, here’s a list of 15 symptoms that you could be suffering from.

1. Putting up the tree before its socially acceptable

2. Most of your friends probably think you’re obnoxious, but there’s no one with more Christmas spirit than you

3. You have a field day in the decoration sections at Michael’s and Target

4. There’s nothing like a Christmas-themed Thanksgiving

5. Everyday is a new opportunity to try and convert your friends to a Christmas-loving fool like you

6. You’ve had gift ideas for everyone for months

7. You broke out the Christmas socks weeks ago

8. Christmas music is acceptable year round isn’t it?

9. The minute the weather drops below 40 degrees you bring out your beloved sweaters and Christmas-colored clothes

10. “Coffee? No. This is hot chocolate, and yes my mug has reindeer on it.”

11. You’ve already got Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas Schedule written down and memorized

12. You get deeply offended and reconsider your personal relationships with people when they tell you it’s too early for any of this

13. Nothing compares to that warm and fuzzy feeling you have 24/7

14. When you meet someone else already decorating for Christmas and you’ve basically found your soulmate

15. When December actually gets here, it’s only a matter of time before you actually combust from excitement

It’s basically Christmas people!! So keep it up with the decorating and listening to your favorite songs, and don’t ever let anyone tell you it’s too early.
