Surviving The Week Before Spring Break As Told By Little Kids

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Amherst chapter.

For my fellow students drowning in work, experiencing homesickness and counting the days till Spring Break, this one is for you.

Keep Organized!

This is the time to wipe off the dust off your planner and actually start utilizing that new backpack.  Sometimes, the gear alone can get you pumped.  One of our favorite brands is Vera Bradley because her merchandise is both pretty and practical.  Treat yourself to a new bag that you can use in school and during the break. Not much of a bag person? Vera Bradley also has zip ID cases. I used mine when I went to Pindar last week and it was super handy.

Look Fresh

Okay, it is hard to think about putting on makeup at a time like this, but if you look good, you feel good.  TreSemme’s Beauty-Full Volume Pre-Wash Conditioner and Shampoo set will help you to have soft and great looking hair with only two products.  Add in the Milani eyeliner and suddenly you have transformed into a runway diva.  Plus the eyeliner stays until you remove it at night.  Perfect for that “accidental” nap in class.

Prepare for the Weather

It’s going to be hot this week, so you may want to break out the summer clothes. One tip for hiding bra straps with shoulder exposing tops is using a product like Brappz Strap.  You attach the two way detachable hooks to any top and use the holes provided to adjust your to your length. Also remember to stay hydrated.  (Speaking of hydration, don’t forget to prioritize urinary tract maintenance. AZO cranberry gummies combine the urinary tract health benefits of cranberries and Pacran to keep you flushed.)

Keep up finances

You don’t want to have to worry about who you owe money (or who owes YOU money) while relaxing over break. Using a service like CirclePay can help you to minimize your debts and all you need is an email or a phone number.  Plus you can send photos, emojis and gifs with your money message. All you need to do is snap a picture of your debit card to send money or cash out.  Plus word on the street is that if you type in SB2016 in the app, you get put in a sweepstakes for $1000 toward your Spring Break trip.  But you didn’t hear it from me. ;)

Take Time To Procrastinate

No really, free your mind.  One way of doing this is looking at opportunities for the summer!  It’s a productive way goofing off, because you had to do it anyway.  CEA Study Abroad allows for students to take classes in 21 locations in 12 countries, and they are currently enrolling for summer and fall!
