Eco-Friendly Fashion

            As Earth Day (April 22nd) approaches I would like to talk about some environmentally conscious initiatives taken on by several design houses and retailers. I love clothes, and I like to think that I stay relatively on-trend from season to season, but this way of life is not particularly kind to the planet. It requires enormous amounts of resources, both renewable and un-renewable. If you are passionate about living sustainably then clothing is a great way to live in an eco-friendly fashion, pun intended entirely. Pita Pockets, the new falafel place in town, is one of the best things to happen to Amherst in a while.  The guy behind the counter is one of the most friendly and enthusiastic people I’ve ever encountered.  He asked my friend, who had already been there two times that week, how she was doing, and how her friend’s thesis was going.  He assured us that he would make us the best Turbo pockets ever.    READ MORE
