Twenty One Pilots performance
The first act to perform, the indie rock band gave a memorable and electrifying performance with their hit “Car Radio.” While singer Tyler Joseph solemnly played on the piano, the crowd surrounding him sported the band’s signature ski masks. As the song picks up, Tyler and drummer Josh Dun put on their own masks. The climax explodes as Tyler jumps into the crowd and takes off his mask, as the fans follow suit and start jumping to the beat.

As he was accepting the award for Best Shirtless Performance in That Awkward Moment, the award’s presenter Rita Ora comes up behind Zac and takes off his shirt. Thank you, Rita!
