Spring break is officially here, which means a chance to sleep in, spend time with friends and family, and get a break from midterms. Whether you’re staying here at AU, going back home, or jetting off to an exotic location, almost every collegiette can agree that it’s one of the best weeks of the year. We were lucky enough to recently receive the Spring Break Survival Kit, which has a ton of fun new products that can help you have your best spring break yet, no matter what your plans are! Here are some of our picks for the essential products you need depending on what your plans are.

If you’re hitting the beach…

1. L’Oreal Sublime Bronze Towelettes

After a long winter of staying inside to study and avoid the cold, we all want a nice glow before going on vacation! These towelettes are perfect because they don’t have the mess that sometimes comes from a liquid tanner, but still are able to give you a natural bronzed look (so you can avoid having a Ross moment).

2. Freeman Beauty Psssst! Tropical Dry Shampoo- Travel Size

Let’s be honest- if you’re at the beach, the last thing you want to do is spend hours on your hair. Thankfully, this dry shampoo cleans your hair without the need for water. We loved the travel size that is perfect for tossing in your carry-on, and the new tropical scent will remind you of your vacation even after you’ve left.

3. Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips lipstick

These new lipsticks from Charlotte Tilbury use 3D pigments and an orchid-extract formula to give you bright and soft-feeling lips that will last all day (even while at the beach). Our favorite shade is Electric Poppy- it’s perfect for a night out too!

If you’re relaxing at home…

1. Treat yourself with some Juicy Couture

After surviving midterms, you deserve to treat yourself! Take a break from Netflix (while still not having to leave your couch) by doing some online shopping at Juicy Couture. They have new clothing and jewelry that are perfect for spring- we personally loved the pineapple earrings that have us looking forward to summer.

2. Get organized with Erin Condren

Although break is a time to relax, it’s also a great time to get organized for the rest of the semester. These colorful planners and markers are perfect for writing down assigments, internship due dates, or plans with your friends. The fun patterns, colors, and inspirational quotes on each piece will make you start actually looking forward to taking notes!

3. Stock up on drugstore essentials, such as Cystex Urinary Pain Relief Tablets

You might not have thought of urinary pain tablets as a spring break essential, but going home for a week is a great time to stock up on all the beauty and drugstore supplies you might need to finish out the semester. When it comes to UTIs it’s definitely better to be safe rather than sorry, and with a $2 off coupon it’s even easier to be prepared.

4. Get inspired by Actually She Can

Actually She Can is a campaign aimed to start a movement and dialogue regardng female empowerment. If you need some summer internship motivation or want to learn about how to become even more of a #girlboss, check out the website as well as the #ActuallySheCan tag on social media.
