5. A group of Australian students have created a life-saving water-purifier with empty potato chip bags

With a glass tube and an empty potato chip bag, a team of students from University Adelaide’s School of Mechanical Engineering in Australia was able to create a water-purifier that can be easily used in countries where purified water may not be readily available.
