Disney Princess Jobs On The Sea

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Akron chapter.

If you’ve ever dreamed of becoming a Disney princess, your chance is here! The Disney Cruise Line Company is hiring dozens of new cast members, some of which will be Disney princess characters onboard cruises sailing throughout the Caribbean!

The company is looking for enthusiastic, energized and excited members to improve the overall experience of guests aboard the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and on land at Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay. Other than setting up and tearing down, the job description lists performances, activities, and dance parties. Is there any part of this that is doesn’t sound perfect?

Well, it would actually require a lot of dedication. You have to be willing to work seven days a week, totaling up to 70-84 hours per week, with minimal time off. You also have to be prepared to stay in character at all times (so you can’t text your best friend while dressed as Ariel). Nobody ever said being a princess would be easy, but nobody has ever regretted it either!

It seems like a huge time commitment, but while sailing around the seas for a living? Who knows, maybe it can be worth it!
