You Could Get This Literal Dream Job Traveling With Insta-Famous Pups All Summer

As finals draw nearer and the semester’s coming to a close, we’re all wondering what to do with our months of summer vacation. While we all want a great resume-filler and money in the bank, the job and internship search is hard— who wants to spend their summer sitting in a stuffy office? Don’t give up hope just yet, especially if you’re a dog-loving, photo-taking, social media-posting kind of girl.

The Points Guy is a travel website offering the job of the century: a social media intern for their Instagram famous dogs. As an intern, you’d work alongside their three “Points Pups” Miles, Hootie, and Swisher — aka some of the cutest and most popular dogs of the modern day. Job responsibilities (if you can call them that) include traveling with the pups, posting pictures of them on The Points Guy social media and writing content for their website.

As a travel website, The Points Guys hopes to find a candidate to help research what traveling with pets is like. You’ll be working with the lovable Points Pups to see which hotels, airlines, and destinations are most accommodating and make a pet traveler’s guide.

If you’re still interested (how could you not be!), make sure to apply by sending an email and short video with your intent to thepointspups@thepointsguy.com. To be considered, you’ll need extensive social media experience (specifically Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook), great photo skills, and a love for pets (duh). Candidates work in The Points Guy New York City office in the Flatiron District, and must be over 18 and legally able to work in the United States. Veterinary education is a plus.
