President Trump took to Twitter on Tuesday to allege that special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Trump campaign ties to Russian election meddling would interfere with the upcoming midterm elections in November.
Without evidence, Trump stated that Mueller’s team, composed of “13 Angry Democrats,” were working to stop Republicans from taking the lead in the polls, ignoring the fact that both Robert Mueller and Rod Rosenstein, the Deputy Attorney General who hired Mueller and supervises the investigation, are Republicans, reported the Guardian.
The 13 Angry Democrats (plus people who worked 8 years for Obama) working on the rigged Russia Witch Hunt, will be MEDDLING with the mid-term elections, especially now that Republicans (stay tough!) are taking the lead in Polls. There was no Collusion, except by the Democrats!

For a long time, Trump has referred to the Mueller investigation as a “witch hunt” and has hinted at the possibility of firing Mueller, reported Vox. In January, the New York Times reported that Trump ordered the firing of Mueller last June, but ultimately backed down after White House Counsel Don McGahn threatened to resign.
Mueller’s investigation has led to four Trump associates being charged with crimes related to obstruction of justice, conspiracy, fraud and tax evasion, and acting as foreign agents for the government of Ukraine.
While Trump continues to claim that there was “no collusion” between the Trump campaign and the Russian government during and leading up to the 2016 election, his attacks on Mueller and Rosenstein show concern for what the investigation may turn up. Trump insists that the Mueller team’s “witch hunt” is positioned to target Republicans running for election in November who are “taking the lead in Polls,” though most polls show a Democratic lead.
