This is The Top University Both Students & Parents Choose As Their ‘Dream’ School

The most important decisions in a young person’s life often include what to wear on a date, which Starbucks coffee to order, and of course—Which college to choose.

According to NBC News, across the board, the most popular “dream” school chosen by both students and parents is Stanford University. In Princeton Review’s 2016 College Hopes & Worries Survey Report, more than 8,300 college applicants and 2000 parents participated in the study, coming from all U.S. states and 20 other countries abroad. Stanford University topped the list of dream schools in both students’ and parents’ picks, with Harvard College ranking number two in both lists as well.

The survey also found that the biggest college worry was student debt, which has been the most fretted-over factor of the college process for the last three years. However, 44 percent of those surveyed said that the most beneficial part of the college degree would be the chance to acquire a “potentially better job and high income,” showing that people truly believe a degree is worth the debt they might find themselves in post-graduation.

Despite the range of responses, it’s interesting to see that people agree on one thing: Stanford is the place to be.
