This Teen Got Asked for Nude Photos and Her Response Is the Funniest Thing Ever

It’s likely you’ve been there: you’re texting a guy you’re super into, and the flirty conversation turns into a request for *ahem* pics – which is fine if you’re a consenting adult. However, 16-year-old Jacquie Ross was neither of those things when she was asked for nude pictures, and her response is basically the best thing ever.

As BuzzFeed reports, Jacquie was texting her friend Michael about prom, when he asked to see a picture of her in her dress. When she responded saying that she wasn’t exactly looking picture perfect at the moment, he asked why, and she responded with a shot of her face mask and bare shoulders. This lead Michael to ask what was “below the picture,” (her towel), and under the towel. From there, the screenshots, which Jacquie posted to Tumblr, just get more and more hilarious.

Their conversation ended with her having to resort to a robe – under which, of course, you guessed it: was a towel. (And we can’t stop laughing.)

On Tumblr, Jacquie’s post, captioned, “They don’t give up so easily nowadays,” (lol) has racked up over 76,000 notes and counting. “He’s sort of a friend so we talk pretty often,” she told Buzzfeed. “Not flirtatiously but memes and such. So it wasn’t some random guy from a class.”

While Jacquie doesn’t seem too bothered by the incident, as Refinery29 points out, Michael saying, “I’m gonna get what I want,” is what feels particularly icky about his request. PSA: consent isn’t really consent if you have to pressure someone for it. (As Michael does endlessly here.)

Luckily, it seems like Jacquie knew exactly how to handle the pressure, and TBH her way of shutting Michael down is kind of our ultimate ~goals~.

“I like when people are like ‘I’m gonna use this for future reference!'” Jacquie told BuzzFeed. BRB, I too will be saving this one for later.
