This Oral Sex App Requires You to Lick Your Phone

Webcam platform CamSoda recently launched an app called “O-Cast” which is being described as “the iTunes of oral sex for women.”

The digital marketplace allows people to upload “virtual oral sex sessions,” which they can then download onto a vibrator via Bluetooth, according to the Huffington Post. The recordings can last up to 60 seconds.

You can’t download the O-Casts to just any vibrator, though. Cosmopolitan reports that the app is only compatible with Lovense “Lush” Bluetooth egg vibrators, which you can buy for $100.

O-Cast spokesman Darren Press says they plan on offering all sorts of different tongue patterns for download. Users can upload their own creations to the CamSoda store as well as download recordings from both professional and amateur sex pioneers, according to Mashable

The downside to this app is clear. The best way to record your preferred form of oral sex is to literally lick your phone. The vibratory patterns made by licking your phone screen are then recorded by the app.

“You can also use your finger, but telling people to lick the phone helps the click bait,” Press told the Huffington Post. “If your phone screen is clean, you should be OK.”

But how clean is your phone screen, really? This still brings up an array of sanitation concerns because, as you’ve probably heard or seen before, phone surfaces are covered in bacteria and are pretty gross. Your phone probably isn’t as clean as you think.

Some people are already going for it, but whether or not the app takes off has yet to be seen. Press admitted that sales haven’t been great for their similar app for men.

“The device for that is expensive – about $250,” Press said. “It’s the best of its kind, but not quite there.”
