Harvard is Awarding Hillary Clinton for Her ‘Transformative Impact on Society’ & It’s About Time

On Sunday, Harvard announced that Hillary Clinton, former 2016 presidential nominee, feminist icon and former secretary of state, will be receiving the Radcliffe medal during commencement week.

According to the Harvard Gazette, the medal honors those who have dedicated their lives to create a “transformative impact on society.”

Lizabeth Cohen, dean of the Radcliffe Institute, says that Clinton is being awarded this medal to honor her fight for human rights, her impact on American politics and her advocacy during her time as secretary of state.

The announcement from Harvard came the same day that President Trump went on yet another Twitter rampage to disparage his rival from the 2016 presidential election.

….At what point does this soon to be $20,000,000 Witch Hunt, composed of 13 Angry and Heavily Conflicted Democrats and two people who have worked for Obama for 8 years, STOP! They have found no Collussion with Russia, No Obstruction, but they aren’t looking at the corruption…

Despite the attacks, Hillary clearly came out on top as yet another Ivy League honored her by inviting her to speak at graduation. During her commencement address at Yale this past weekend, she admitted that the results of the election still bothered her, but that she will continue to fight for truth and civil justice.

“We’re living at a time when fundamental rights, civic virtues, freedom of the press, even facts and reason, are under assault like never before. But we are also witnessing an era of new moral conviction, civic engagement and a sense of devotion to our democracy and country,” she said.

Former secretary Clinton will be receiving the Radcliffe medal this Friday, and boy are we so happy for her. It’s what she deserves.
