Here at the news blog, we’re always looking for new ways to make sure all our collegiette readers stay informed about the most important current events (I mean, we let you know about the pumpkin spice latte shortage, didn’t we?!). Today, we’re showing you an awesome tool to keep up to date on what is, arguably, one of the most important news topics out there: the upcoming 2012 elections.

Thankfully, our friends at Bing are here to make keeping up with the elections easy for you. We know you’re busy, but you still want current, accurate, and reliable information, and it’d be nice if you didn’t have to scour the entire web just to find it. With that in mind, Bing has introduced their brand new Bing Elections site, at bing.com/elections, designed to help you cut through the clutter to get the information you want.

On Bing Elections, you can get the latest news, including a breakdown of how each race in progressing on a state-by-state basis. You can compare candidates across a number of races, or check out what your peers and political experts have to say about the elections in real time. Bing Elections combines all the latest news from across a number of media sources, including the Associated Press, The Huffington Post, and Politico, along with social trends from Facebook and Twitter. You can even customize your news, to read stories from just right or left leaning sources, or search for issues that are important to you. It’s a completely customizable election news experience, and it’s super easy and convenient to use!
