In an emotional scene at last night’s Democratic National Convention, Bernie Sanders’s brother, Larry, cast his vote for the Senator from Vermont. He was one of the delegates for Democrats Abroad, and he dedicated his vote to his and Bernie’s parents, whom he said would be proud of their son’s accomplishments. During the heartfelt moment, both Sanders brothers struggled to hold back tears, and although the final count of the delegate votes meant the end of Sanders’s presidential run, the touching scene left a poignant mark on the end of an inspiring campaign.
