Lets face it, school can get really stressful. For me, academic success is a really important factor in determining my inner peace and harmony . Luckily, I have the discipline it takes to march into UCLA's library for long periods of time and study until my brain turns to mush and my eyeballs fall out.
I really really like UCLA, don’t get me wrong, but I really really don’t like the quarter system. UCLA is a university that runs on the crazy, fast-paced ten-week-long quarter system. So basically, what all you wonderful semester people learn in 16 weeks, we quarter people learn in 10! And there is absolutely no fun in learning at an accelerated pace.

I have always loved lucky charms cereal. I remember being 9 years old, waking up to Saturday morning cartoons and devouring those colorful, sugary shapes with soymilk (I have been lactose intolerant since before I could remember). I would look into my bowl, smile, and count the marshmallow-to-cereal ratio. I liked the swirlyness of the colors and how they arranged so magically inside my bowl.
