17 Reasons To Date An Alpha Female

Posted -

The Alpha female—she’s assertive, driven, passionate and purposeful. She’s self-confident and demands respect, and while her attributes make her a great leader, she is often seen as “too-assertive” or too intimidating to date. While many are unable to handle the dominant and go-getter nature of the alpha female, those who are able to rise up to the challenge will quickly realize why dating an Alpha female is a far better experience than seeking a submissive, “ladylike” partner.

1. She will challenge you

An Alpha woman will make you work harder, think more, and do better than you ever have before. She will constantly want you to rise to her growing standards and expectations. If you’re up for the challenge, she will turn you into a better partner, professional and overall better person.

2. She has ambitions

She’s career-oriented and self-driven, and she’ll push you to be the same.

3. She knows what she wants

Whether it be where to eat, or when it comes to defining the relationship, the Alpha woman knows what she wants, and she’s not afraid to admit it.

4. She doesn’t require your validation

She appreciates your compliments, but she doesn’t live off of them. The Alpha woman is a self-loving individual who finds confidence and validation from herself and her accomplishments, not from others. Tell her she’s beautiful, tell her she’s amazing—but know that she understands she’s beautiful and amazing without you telling her too.

5. She’s more difficult to impress

Women like her are easily entertained, but seldom impressed—know the difference. If you’re trying to win her heart, know it’ll take more convincing than dinner and a movie, and if you can rise to the challenge, you’ll quickly find out why the Alpha woman is always worth it.

6. She lives with purpose

She doesn’t talk for the sake of talking or “do” for the sake of doing. The Alpha woman is always on a mission, and she seeks fulfillment from her busy, productive lifestyle.

7. She embraces change

Change is the norm for an Alpha woman, who is always looking ahead to the next phase in her life. Spontaneity and change doesn’t phase her, but does it phase you?

8. She’s a risk taker

Because she understands that life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

9. She’s confident

While insecurities are difficult to completely eliminate, the Alpha female gets pretty damn close. She’s naturally confident, and why wouldn’t she be? She’s an empowered, goal-oriented individual who lives with poise and purpose.

10. She’s passionate

She gives 100 percent to her passions, interests, relationships and hobbies. Everything an Alpha female does is with passion and for a purpose.

11. She’ll intimidate you a little

But that’s okay. Her intention isn’t to threaten you, it’s to show the world that she isn’t to be messed with. While her go-getter personality and headstrong attitude will turn away the weak, if you treat her with respect and admiration, you’ll find her demeanor more attractive than intimidating.

12. She craves stability

In her hectic life, the alpha female craves stability in her all of her relationships. She’s decisive, communicative and she knows what she wants.

13. She doesn’t let someone take advantage of her

The Alpha female knows how to stand up for herself. Expect her to be confident and well-spoken, don’t expect her to meaninglessly apologize.

14. She’s straight to the point

Because she doesn’t understand the need for small talk, conversations full of “fluff” or passive-aggression.

15. She demands respect over affection

Because respect lasts longer, anyway.

16. She won’t fight with you, she’ll debate

Arguing with an alpha female is fruitless. If you want to prove your point, you’ll have to debate.

17. She values your loyalty

Because at the end of the day all the Alpha female really wants is someone to consistently support and uplift her.
