Lose the Freshman 15

Well collegiettes, it's my final blog post!  Can you believe it?  While this post may be my last one for the Lose the Freshman 15 program with HerCampus.com and SELF Magazine, it is definitely not the end of my weight loss journey and road to a healthier lifestyle.  I am proud to report that over the course of this program, I was able to lose 14 pounds to bring me to my current weight of 156!  Just one pound shy of the full freshman 15, but I am confident that I will be able to achieve my goal weight of 140 by the end of this summer.  This program has taught me so much about myself, losing...

While I am sad that my blogging experience is over, I’m so happy to reveal that I’ve lost 8 pounds through out the plan!! Hello Collegiettes! Today marks the last day of our Lose the Freshman 15 challenge! I can’t believe how fast these past 8 weeks flew by.  I have learned so much about health, friends, and myself.  I have been amazed by the amazing support you all have given me throughout the past 8 weeks.  The results are in.  I started at 163 and now weight 156.  I lost 7 pounds, averaging a little less than a pound per week.  But guess what, during these 8 weeks I am proud of myself.  I went through a lot of changes that would normally lead me to stress eat and skip workouts.  I went through a breakup with...
