Dear Future Me,

How are you? Are you happy and healthy or are you facing difficulties? I hope by the time I come back to read this letter, I see growth. A lot has changed in 2021. You lived through a pandemic and faced many changes. You lost quite a few people and that’s okay because you also gained more memories to cherish, and met different people who have now become a precious part of your life. Are these people still in your life? There are many thoughts, doubts, and struggles you’re dealing with right now and you’re only 20! I truly hope that when time passes, all of those worries will go away. Even if you are not where you want to be, it is okay. Everything will be fine.

You were always an independent and free soul. Maybe it was because you also had a fear hidden within you, a fear of being let down. Has that changed? I really hope so. I really do hope that you are in a good place right now. Of course, as a 20-year-old, you are happy but there are many missing pieces. Please find those pieces!!

You have always had a hard time cherishing things that are important to you, I know it’s hard to express yourself sometimes, let’s do better yeah? Are you married yet? If you are, CONGRATS! He better be tall and handsome haha! I’m sure you have found someone who looks at you with stars in their eyes. Even though you never believed this you will now, I’m sure God has better plans for you.

Before I end this letter, I want to let you know that wherever you stand in life, whatever the situation may be, you can and you will push through and conquer it. You are growing to become a strong and successful young woman. Success comes in many forms. Remember to eat all your meals and I will catch up to where you are at now soon.

With Love,
