Sunday, December 25, 2011

One more week to decide your New Year’s resolution! Get some inspiration from the collegiettes™ at Her Campus on how to improve upon yourself in 2012. And let us know your resolution by leaving a comment below!

My New Year’s resolution is to become more fit! I want to learn how to weight lift properly and run more! Washboard abs wouldn't be that bad either!
- Elizabeth Schmitt, Campus Correspondent, Mount Holyoke College

running I want to run at least 3 times a week while I'm abroad in Morocco. Rabat is right on the coast so I can run on the beach in the morning. No ice, no pile-up of extracurricular commitments, no excuses!
-Marissa Alioto, Contributing Writer, Bowdoin College

My New Year’s resolution is to go green! I feel like it's so important to take care of yourself, let alone the world, so it's crucial to be cautious about what we use.
-Kelsey Mulvey, Contributing Writer, Boston University

I want to do better at staying in touch with my friends from home. I used to be so good about it, but it's just gotten harder since we graduated two and a half years ago!
-Sarah Ramirez, Campus Correspondent, Fordham University

I want to be a more optimistic, relaxed person. I also want to stop making the same mistakes and hoping for different results.
-Erica Avesian, Contributing Writer, University of Michigan

fruits and vegetablesThis year I'm going to try to eat more fruits and veggies. My mom is on Weight Watchers and they really stress that, so I'm going to try it out myself (even though I'm on a college budget). I also want to pursue my passion for cooking and baking, so I think I'm going to start a food blog! I love being in the kitchen, but a food blog will hold me accountable for a writing schedule and it will broaden my eating repertoire!
-Mary Beth Hills, Contributing Writer, Aquinas College

Drink more water! It's simple and something I can definitely accomplish. That, and to live more simply! I won't waste any time in doing what makes me happy and I will be less afraid to tell people how I really feel.
-Serena Piper, Campus Correspondent, University of Oregon

To become fluent in French!
-Tia Meyers, Campus Correspondent, Quinnipiac University

To smile at people passing by me.
-Ashlee Oliver, Campus Correspondent, Hollins University
