Jenna Dewan-Tatum has a bit more to smile about on Wednesday when People announced it had named her husband, Channing Tatum, 32, of Magic Mike, 2012’s Sexiest Man Alive.
“My first thought was, ‘Y’all are messing with me,” Tatum said about his initial reaction to People. “I told Jenna after we’d been in the bathtub washing our dogs because they’d gotten skunked.”
That seems like an appropriate moment to break some news involving the title ‘Sexiest Man Alive.’
Tatum recalled his wife, 31, since 2009 responding in disbelief, although she has adopted the title as a nickname for him ever since.
“People know him to be fun and sexy, but they don’t know how emotionally deep and spiritually open he is,” shared Dewan-Tatum on E! News. “He is such an open-hearted person; what you see is what you get.”
Professionally, Tatum is currently preparing to take on the role of an Olympic athlete in 2013’s Foxcatcher. Personally, he feels he and Dewan-Tatum are ready to start a family.
Well, there’s one future family’s DNA we’re already jealous of.
