The family-friendly TV show Boy Meets World quickly became a cult classic during its run from 1993 to 2000. We watched young Cory Matthews (portrayed by Ben Savage) grow up from a nerdy middle schooler to a charming college student who fell in love with his best female friend Topanga Lawrence (portrayed by Danielle Fishel). When the show ended, Cory, Topanga and Shawn (portrayed by Rider Strong) were leaving Philadelphia for Topanga’s new job and scholarship in New York City. Fans wanted to know what happened next.
Well, we’re about to find out! The sequel Girl Meets World will premiere later this year and is currently in the process of filming. We already knew that Cory and Topanga, now married, would be on the show and portrayed by the original actors, but no one was sure which of the other original actors would be back. Huffington Post confirmed that the beloved Mr. Feeny (portrayed by William Daniels) would be there to guide Cory once again, only this time through the perils of marriage and parenthood!
