It’s no secret that Audrey Hepburn is an absolute icon. She made elbow-high gloves a thing and truthfully, those little bun tiaras are too cute! Audrey shows us that being an independent woman takes little effort.

Bring It On (2000)
Bring It On Kirsten Dunst
Beacon Communications

This movie is literally the only cheerleading movie that matters. It is the movie of all movies that will make you highly appreciate the sport itself. Bring It On gives you so many lessons to choose from ranging from hard work and determination, being original, and even, not stealing black culture (which is still totally relevant in 2020). Kirsten Dunst will always have a special place in my heart from her role as Torrence and nobody had a more important role than the “spirit stick.” Alexa, play “Brrr, it’s cold in here.”

Nina, played by Nia Long, and Darius, played by Larenz Tate, play the perfectly unperfect couple who gives an inside look at love in your 20s — hint: it’s turbulent, steamy, and raw. This movie presents a major lesson about settling (or, rather, learning not to settle at all).

Sixteen Candles cake scene
