We were already obsessed the tiny Canadian actress for her sass and her style, but Ellen Page gave us a whole new reason to look up to her after she came out to hundreds of people Friday at the Human Rights Campaign Foundation “Time to Thrive” conference, claiming she was “tired of lying by omission.” In her impassioned speech, the 26-year-old Juno star said, “We deserve to experience love fully, equally, without shame and without compromise.” Here are just a few reasons we love Ellen Page just the way she is.
