What It’s Like To Be In College, As Told By “The Hunger Games”, “Pretty Little Liars” and “Gossip Girl”

We’re going to let you in on a little secret: being in college is hard.

Sure, at first it was all like,

And you were all like,

You may have participated in some alternative (and illegal) activities and been all like,

And most nights ended like,

But then freshman year ended and you were all like,

Since you’re done with your general requirements, securing a solid schedule feels like this,

Not to mention you’re always doing work and your parents are like,

And then there are finals, and you feel like,

But studying looks like this,

And this,

When your professor calls you out for texting during lecture, you’re just like,

Getting ready for a night on the town used to be like this:

And you used to be so willing to go out all the time. You were all like,

But now instead of going out on the weekends, you’re just like,

But your roommate is like,

So sometimes you give in and go to that horrible frat party. But all the boys make you feel like this,

Especially when they ask if you’re a freshman and you’re like,

When it’s finally time to go home, all you want is a slice of pizza at your favorite late night eatery and you’re all like,

But of course it’s already closed, and you’re just like,

You can see people still in there cleaning up, so you’re all like,

Once in a while, all you really need is a weekend back at your district—er, hometown. And when you finally get home, you’re like,

Honestly, being home is great. You can do this all night without anyone judging you,

And this too,

Until your parents ask you if you have a boyfriend yet and you’re like,

Seriously, is it just us or is everyone in a relationship now?  It makes you feel like,

Your roommate:

Your big:

Your little:

That girl in your history lecture:

And you:

Obviously your campus’s player is dying to get with you. He’s all like,

And while during freshman year, you were like,

Now you’re more like,

Speaking of things you can live without, having a roommate is such a drag. When someone asks you how you like living in a double, you say,

But on the inside, you’re like,

As much as you love her, she just doesn’t believe in quiet time.

But live it up now, because you’ll have to enter the real world very soon, which makes you feel like,

And with the slumping job market,

In addition to parties, boys and roommate drama, you also have to pad your resume, so you’re all like,

When you’re applying for an internship, you honestly just want to scream,

And when you find out your frenemy scored your dream internship, you’re just like,

And then like,

But when you get the internship instead, it’s more like,

Face it: college is not always as glamorous as it seems, and sometimes you just feel like,

But don’t worry,
