The Luck of the Charms
I have always loved lucky charms cereal. I remember being 9 years old, waking up to Saturday morning cartoons and devouring those colorful, sugary shapes with soymilk (I have been lactose intolerant since before I could remember). I would look into my bowl, smile, and count the marshmallow-to-cereal ratio. I liked the swirlyness of the colors and how they arranged so magically inside my bowl. There was something truly special about the luck of those charms!
Same story goes with Juicy Couture’s Charm Bracelets. They are absolutely colorful and adorable and range from such different shapes and styles. Each one is made with such careful thought and is so special to the girl who wears them. I have a feeling that wearing Juicy Couture charms will give me good luck in life. It may sound silly and superstitious, but hey, when I feel lucky, I feel better. And when I feel better, I do better! That’s just the way it goes…
Juicy understands how important the little things in life are. Candy, hearts, flowers, and cute colors are some of the many things that define a girl’s world. After all, It’s the little things in life that get me. My friends bringing me a box of cupcakes when I’m having a bad day, that extra large latte after a long night of studying, and the cute pair of shoes that happen to be on sale the same day I spot them. Appreciating the little things in life is so fulfilling! Juicy’s Charms show just how special those little things in life can be!
Growing up, I LOVED playing Truth or Dare. It was such a fun game and always made my heart race. I remember wanting to be adventurous and choosing “DARE” every time. I loved seeing all the silly little dares my friends came up with for me to perform. Or the funny teeny-bopper secrets that were revealed, usually in regards to who had a crush on who. When I saw this charm, I immediately thought of the fun times I spent with my friends playing Truth or Dare. All the memories of my childhood and my daring little self, always trying to push the envelope.
During high school, I became a multitasking maestro. I had dance, school leadership, cheerleading, internship at a congresswoman’s office, and growing up to do all in a matter of 24 hours each day. That meant less sleep and more work. High school was when I discovered my most beneficial aid and best friend COFFEE. Coffee became my lifesaver during the tougher days and never yelled at me for pressing “snooze” on my alarm clock too many times. Seeing this charm immediately reminded me of the great companion coffee had been and how it pulled me through many sleepless nights.

My obsession with high top sneakers will never end. I love wearing high tops because they honestly go with everything! You can pair them with skinny jeans, dresses, shorts and skirts and create a really edgy yet adorable look. I actually have a pair of Juicy Couture high top sneakers that look exactly like this charm! Sneakers are my all time favorite accessory and this adorable charm reminds me of the daring trendsetter that I am (or at least that I try to be).
Juicy has millions of cute charms to chose from. These few are the ones that are important to me and remind me of the little things in life that I can’t live without. Which charms are important to you? Which ones tell your life story? Check out Juicy’s Love-O-Meter and find those charms! The ones that remind you of the unforgettable times and special people in your life. Who knows, maybe you’ll find your own set of lucky charms :)

Biography
My name is Mel Chalian. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. As a native to the sunny and busy city, I have always loved the hustle-bustle atmosphere. I attended a very small, private Armenian school for what I though would be my whole life. At a tiny school where I knew everyone and shared a common ethnicity, it was really easy for me to fit in. In high school, I decided to be daring and attended a really big public school. At first it was scary, but I slowly got the hang of it by getting involved. There I was a super spirited high school cheerleader, dance team captain, member of the school board and student government. Now I attend UCLA and am studying English Literature. I love reading and writing and expressing myself. I am also a member of the lovely Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at UCLA and love my sisters more than anything! I love Juicy Couture because I can feel both casual and sexy in their clothes. Juicy was created by two good friends who both share a love for shopping and Hollywood. Its very obvious to me that these Los Angeles natives had a lot of fun creating such a fun company and the clothes reflect exactly how much fun they have! I love wearing bright colors and embracing my femininity. I love Juicy Couture because it is a luxurious and comfy clothing brand that makes me feel glamorous, flirty and stunning.
