ABOUT THE XO INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Our internship program takes place over 9 weeks beginning on June 5, 2017 and ending on August 4, 2017. This program will give you the opportunity to gain invaluable on-the-job experience at the premier consumer internet, tech and media company devoted to weddings, pregnancy and everything in between. You can expect to learn a great deal about the wedding & baby media and online marketplace industries, experience what it is like to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment, and network with our teammates and awesome interns from all around the world! During the program you'll enjoy an exclusive speaker series, go on adventures and outings with your fellow interns, and collaborate with XO employees and interns to present a project to our CEO and executive team! This internship will be between 30-40 hours per week-dependent on the department. We have a lot planned and we can't wait to see you this summer!
* Building articles in CMS
* Sourcing and editing images
* Auditing existing content
* Updating the content schedule
* Creating content outlines
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
* You must have Photoshop experience
* You must be tech- and Internet-savvy, a strong writer and an effective multi-tasker
* Experience with HTML is a plus
* Knowledge of SEO is a plus
* Knowledge of Google Analytics is a plus
* We are looking for at least three full days in the office per week *
You must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program or be a recent grad to apply. This is a paid internship and school credit is optional.
