Role Responsibilities Requirements

Teacher Residency Program 
The Teacher Residency Program is a two-year, full-time salaried position for emerging leaders who are interested in helping children from all backgrounds and all zip codes achieve extraordinary results. Whether you are just starting your career or considering a change, the Teacher Residency Program offers an outstanding opportunity for growth and hands-on experience to develop as an exceptional Teacher and Leader in the education reform movement. Because of our unique commitment to science education, we’ve also created a specialized Science Teacher Residency track.

To be a successful candidate, you must:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree, with an outstanding record of academic achievement and leadership;
- Be a person of high moral character;
- Be flexible and open to feedback;
- Demonstrate grit and perseverance; and 
- Be interested in working in a collaborative environment.

In addition, for the Science program, you will facilitate scholars’ increasing independence in developing their own scientific processes, from basic skills, to analyzing data, to fully internalizing the scientific method.

You will work collaboratively with Lead Teachers, assuming increased teaching responsibilities while progressing towards the Lead Teacher role.

School Operations
The Operations team plays a critical role in building our joyful learning environments. Coordinating field studies, engaging with families, and managing scholar health are just a few of the day-to-day activities this team handles. Their work builds close relationships with teachers, scholars, and families, and without them our schools wouldn’t run! 

To be a successful candidate, you must:

- Demonstrate flexibility, grit and perseverance;
- Be interested in working in a collaborative environment;
- Have the ability to build relationships and engage across the school environment; and
- Have a keen eye for detail, organization, data analysis, and event planning.

Education Coordinator 
Reporting to a school-based Education Manager, the Education Coordinator will use data and strong systems to promote rapid student achievement. This results-driven individual ensures teachers and leaders have detailed and current data to make fast, data-driven decisions and action plans to change scholar practice by designing innovative and effective systems to track assessment, homework, and culture data for the school community.
