The Jacksonville Jaguars (the “Jaguars”) are currently looking for a student to shadow the Ticketing Department as part of the Jaguars internship program. The Jaguars are committed to developing talent and interest in professional sports. An internship at the Jaguars will provide you the chance to explore your career interests, acquire marketable job skills while “learning the ropes” of the industry, establish professional contacts, and gain practical “hands on” experience.

The Jaguars internships offer meaningful educational work experiences designed to meet your academic and career goals.  The Jaguars management staff will teach and encourage, but it’s up to you to bring an enthusiasm to learn.  Through this program, you will identify learning goals and work with the Jaguars management to achieve those goals.

This internship will start on May 1, 2017 and end on August 31, 2017.

What you will learn:

As an intern in the Ticketing Department you will:

  • Learn to  manage and maintain customer accounts with in person communication,

  • Learn how to use Archtics Ticketing System and Microsoft Dynamics CRM for reports and account updates,

  • Learn how to help plan, organize, and execute Season Ticket Member and sales prospecting events,

  • Learn how to help sell, service, and manage premium and non-premium accounts, and

  • Learn how to help manage ticket requests, merchandise inventory and event RSVPs.

  • Required Qualifications:     

    All applicants must be:     

  • Pursuing a degree in Sports Management or related field from an accredited school, college or university.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

    The following qualifications are not required but are favored when selecting a candidate:

  • Pursuing a graduate degree in Sports Management or related field, and

  • Familiarity with customer service and/or sales.

  • Because internships at the Jaguars are educational experiences, they are unpaid.  However, the Jaguars will provide a scholarship to assist with your travel expenses to and from the stadium while participating in the internship program. You must secure own housing and transportation and be present in-office throughout the week.
