If you’ve ever ventured to the west side of campus, you might have noticed the Littlefield Home, also informally known as the "odd bit of eclectic Victorian architecture" on Whitis Avenue. It seems out of place amidst the more modern buildings that now dot our campus. However, its charm hasn’t faded and its history still stands. Is it haunted? Or inhabited?
For those of us without cars in college, Austin has a great public transportation system (cheers for the recent opening of Metrorail!), and its biker-friendly environment makes it easy to cycle around the city. However, sometimes the public buses are sketchy, sometimes it’s raining, and sometimes we exasperate our friends by mooching rides.
Couples and single ladies who want to start celebrating early this Valentine’s Day can take a trip to the Jazz Age for swing dancing at the Women’s Federation Club on Feb. 11.
