Former Her Campus interns say:
"I love being a part of Her Campus because it's opened the doors to so many amazing opportunities. Here, being an intern means being given real responsibilities, and I feel like I've learned so much in a short amount of time. Everyone that I've worked with on the HC team has been incredibly positive and encouraging, which has helped me to gain confidence in my writing ability." - Kelsey Pomeroy, Her Campus Editorial Intern
"Working as a design intern for Her Campus was one of the most rewarding experiences I've had and truly made for one of the best summers of my life. Both the internship and company culture perfectly embody the mantra "work hard, play hard." Under the guidance of Senior Designer, Kelsey Thorn, I worked to finesse my design skills and truly understand how to maintain the Her Campus identity while creating individual, unique pieces of work that I can now showcase in my portfolio. The opportunity to design at Her Campus prepared me in every way to land my first professional job, straight out of college, at a public relations and media company in Boston as a Junior Graphic Designer. If you are looking for a fun and engaging design internship in the city, this is the internship for you!" - Gabriella Diniz, Former Design Intern, Junior Graphic Designer at Regan Communications
"As a guy, I'm used to getting confused looks when I tell people I write for a site that caters to women, but I try not to focus on that aspect and instead focus on the fact that I am so incredibly lucky to work with such a talented pool of professionals regardless of gender. Working with Her Campus has allowed me to develop my writing ability, learn what editors are really looking for in articles, and network with a lot of brilliant people. Words can't begin to describe how grateful I am for this opportunity, and I can't wait to see what happens next." - Dale Lavine, Former Her Campus Editorial Intern, National Contributing Writer, and Chapter Advisor
"Applying for an editorial internship at Her Campus was the best career decision I've ever made. From the moment I joined the HC team, I couldn't believe how lucky I was to be able to work with such intelligent, talented, passionate and ambitious young women. I've learned so much about my strengths and weaknesses, my passions, and the opportunities available to me in the future. I never thought I would have the opportunity to participate in an internship that is so perfectly tailored to my passions and goals. So much HC love, Sophie" - Sophie Dodd, Her Campus Editorial Intern
"Being a Digital Production intern for Her Campus was incredible. Not only did I learn about the importance of detail, punctuality and well-done research, but I also learned about what goes on behind the scenes of a publication. Being able to contribute to the site redesign and relaunch was probably one of my favorite aspects. Some ways in which I was able to contribute were through collaborative brainstorming sessions and UX testing. The HC Team truly works with it's interns to assign projects that you're interested in and care about. I worked with a variety of people from all different departments which allowed me to experience and see each working part that makes Her Campus so great." - Cassidy Hopkins, Digital Production Intern
"My experience at Her Campus was nothing short of perfection. I looked forward to going to work every day and met the most amazing people while there, whom I still keep in touch with today. The atmosphere of the office is fun and feminine. We even have themed happy hours! How fun is that?! I was constantly challenged and learned something new every day." - Marissa Angelone, Design Intern
