Go Green For Red
Some holidays are all about going green (Earth Day anyone?). But some holidays are all about going red — like the rapidly approaching Valentine’s Day. This Valentine’s Day how about going green (and spending less green too!)? This way you can show your Valentine that not only do you care about them, but you care about the environment as well.
Give a Green Bag is a company that offers earth-friendly products, such as the Basic Spa Set which I am currently loving. The spa set, which comes in a gorgeous seagrass basket, contains a tree free journal (with gorgeous photos and moving quotes), an inspirational journal, hemp exfoliating gloves, a full spectrum body care kit and living hand soap, organic room spray, and a fair trade tea called Goodnight Kiss which tastes so sweet with delicious blends of chocolate, mint, and vanilla. It’s the perfect drink to end my day with.

Everything feels straight out of an actual spa. The room spray, that has a calming lavender fragrance, calmed me down when I was feeling overwhelmed with work (plus it made my hard-to-keep-clean room somehow feel cleaner). One of my other favorite products was a jar of cream that felt light on my skin and didn’t leave any residue.

The combination of spa essentials with all-natural green products is trendy and smart, making it a perfect gift or indulgence for anyone. The site offers more all-natural products but I personally love the spa set and the soy candles, as they come in one of my favorite scents, pumpkin spice. The smell of fall is so pretty!
Purchase your Basic Spa Set and other great gifts HERE for $45. There are also other spa sets which offer less products for nearly half the cost!
A portion of the sales will benefit A Better Chance, a charitable resource for recruiting, identifying, and developing leaders among young people of color in the U.S.
