Do You Love Comfy Clothes? What About V-Necks? YES. Have I Got a Shirt For You...

Thursday, March 4, 2010

Do you ever find a piece of clothing that is just so comfortable that you can’t bear to take it off? It’s probably my favorite feeling when shopping. Especially when I find something that is cute (read: not something I’ll only be wearing alone in my room) and comfy. My new Market tee is just that — pretty and cozy.

At first glance I thought that the Milla Boyfriend Tee by Market was going to be identical to American Apparel v-necks. I was surprised to find out how different (well as different as two v-neck t-shirts can be) they were.

The Market shirt was softer (cotton/jersey material) than the American Apparel ones and had a different fit. I found that the fit on the Market shirt made it appear dressier and looked better when I dressed it up with a blazer (or my new faux-blazer that's less restricting than traditional blazers and I am obsessed with). I feel like I could easily wear the Boyfriend Tee to an internship or any business-casual event. But at the same time, I could just as easily dress it down with a pair of jeans and a cardigan. I LOVE things like that!

The affordable tees are also a celeb-favorite and I have a confession to make: I get unbelievably excited when I see a celebrity wearing clothes that I have since I often feel get jealous and dream of having all the clothes celebrities have (and hoard! I’m looking at you Lindsay Lohan.). But after spotting both Kristen Stewart and Rachel Bilson (who I think dresses adorably) in the same shirt that I have, I felt great! We all made a great decision to rock these shirts. Plus after reading Sophie’s article on rockin’ the white tee in TWENTY different ways I can keep wearing the Market tee in innovative ways!

You can get your Boyfriend Tee by Market HERE for $33.
