Things have changed a lot for Zooey Deschanel in the past year. She and her then-boyfriend Jacob Pechenik started dating in August 2014, only to announce the actress’ pregnancy in January. Within weeks of this exciting baby news, the couple also got engaged!


Zooey gave birth to a baby girl on August 3rd, her PR rep told Entertainment Tonight. As for the wedding, it was a top secret ceremony, so we don’t get to swoon over the dress or the venue. Boo!


In other news, Zooey’s movie Rock the Kasbah, produced by her new husband (that’s how they met!) and co-starring Bill Murray, Bruce Willis and Kate Hudson, is set to hit theaters this October. Watch the trailer for this improbable comedy below.
