We’re Getting Even More of JonBenét Ramsey on TV

2016 marks the 20th year since JonBenét Ramsey was found murdered in the basement of her family’s home in Boulder, Colorado. Since then, we’ve yet to find the person responsible for the death of the young pageant girl, but several documentaries released this year have provided even more details to the public regarding the mystery. First, A&E released a two-hour documentary that analyzed the murder and explained all the evidence acquired over the years. Then, CBS aired a two-part docu-series that re-examined the case, titled About the Case of: JonBenét Ramsey. Because America’s fascination with the JonBenét case is at its peak this year, Lifetime is also looking to capitalize on the popularity with an upcoming movie.

This November, Lifetime will air a scripted movie titled Who Killed JonBenét? Unlike the previous TV specials from A&E and CBS, this movie will include actors portraying everyone involved in the case, from JonBenét to her parents.

Will we ever find out who killed JonBenét? Probably not, but that doesn’t mean we’ll stop watching these true crime specials in an effort to answer the question.
