It’s officially over between Selena Gomez and The Weeknd — if the fact that both have been spotted hanging with exes Justin Bieber and Bella Hadid wasn’t enough of an indication, The Weeknd just made it pretty clear that they are never, ever getting back together. (Like, ever.)
As Cosmopolitan noticed, the 27-year-old singer had completely wiped his Instagram clean of all traces of his ex-girlfriend as of Tuesday evening. All four photos he’d posted of the former couple, including that *iconic* image of the two of them at this year’s Met Gala, and the selfie that made their relationship Insta-official, are gone. He has also since unfollowed Gomez.
On Selena’s end, it seems that nothing has changed — other than the fact that she unfollowed her ex 10 days earlier. From the looks of it, all the adorable photo evidence that their 10-month relationship happened, is still there. (*Phew*)
Is this a sign that things didn’t exactly end on an amicable note? It definitely seems like an indication that there was a little more ~drama~ than we previously thought.
While we’re still mourning their relationship, it seems like they’ve both already moved on. As we all know by now, the Internet basically exploded when Selena reunited with Justin Bieber days before her split from The Weeknd was announced, and according to Us Weekly, The Weeknd was spotted getting cozy with Bieber’s ex, model Yovanna Ventura, at a party in Beverly Hills — making for one serious love triangle.
