I think all of us who watched Stranger Things 2 remember that horrifying scene where Dustin’s beloved D’artagnan fully evolved into the “Demodog” and started…well…eating Mews the cat?
We’d all gotten so attached to Dart and Dustin loved him so much! To see the creature Dustin rescued and vouched for go full Upside Down-evil and eat a pet…sigh. It was a lot to handle.
As if that scene wasn’t scarring enough for us, Netflix just released a video where cats react to that scene. The result is this anxiety-producing yet adorable video:
Multiple questions to be asked after watching that video: How could Netflix produce that scene with so many cat-lovers around? Do any of those cats have Instagram or Twitter accounts we can follow to be further updated on their extended reactions to the scene? But most importantly: Are the kitties okay?!
Maybe the cats can be reassured that after this unfortunate event, Dart would later show some sort of compassion at the end after all.
