“This is Us” most certainly knows how to get us right in the feels, and just when we thought we couldn’t cry any more, new behind-the-scenes photos show our beloved Jack Pearson, played by Milo Ventimiglia, as a grandpa, and cue the tears now.
According to PopSugar, Mandy Moore, who plays Rebecca Pearson, and Milo Ventimiglia were seen filming a wedding scene on Thursday in Los Angeles. But this isn’t a flashback. Ventimiglia is in full on old age makeup just like Moore.
The photos, which were published on a website called The Blast, show Rebecca and Grandpa Jack standing hand-in-hand wearing wedding attire, Hello Giggles reports.
Now we’re wondering what this means for the show and where exactly the show plans on taking us.
Since we know that Jack is no longer with us after that heartbreaking night in the hospital, this has to be some sort of dream. Or is it an alternate reality?
We do know that Kate and Toby are getting married this season, according to PopSugar, so maybe Rebecca is dreaming of having her late husband there by her side. Or maybe Kate is thinking of her father there at her wedding, since traditionally the father gives the bride away.
I mean, we could barely handle it when we got to see a glimpse of a future Randall.
Honestly, I don’t know if we will ever be emotionally prepared for anything on “This is Us.” Guess we’ll need to get our tissue boxes ready.
