The University of Michigan Football Team Is Getting Its Own Amazon Series

If there’s anything that students at big universities love about returning to school, it’s the beginning of football season. Nothing says “fall” like a Saturday morning tailgate followed by a day spent at the stadium with your squad. Now, you’ll have a chance to live vicariously through a college football team even in the off season.

The Hollywood Reporter announced that Amazon has ordered an unscripted series starring the 11-time national championship football team at the University of Michigan this year. Also starring coach Jim Harbaugh and his coaching staff, the show plans to feature the team’s practices, games and what life is like in famous college town Ann Arbor.

Harbaugh is extremely popular in the football community, having previously led the San Francisco 49ers to championship games and a Super Bowl series. Under his guidance, the Michigan Wolverines have become a top 10 superpower. The reputable team is sure to provide some fun entertainment, streaming alongside Amazon’s well-received football docuseries All or Nothing.

“We are proud to collaborate with Amazon Prime Video in documenting our University of Michigan student-athletes’ daily experiences and the lifelong lessons learned both on the football field and in the classroom,” Harbaugh said. “We welcome judgment! We embrace this opportunity to showcase our 2017 University of Michigan football team to a vast audience around the world.”

Harbaugh also shared the exciting news on Twitter in case any hardcore Michigan fans missed the announcement.

The series is currently untitled and its premiere date has yet to be determined. Congrats to the University of Michigan for snagging this awesome opportunity!
