These 10 People Literally Don’t Know Who Matt & Adam Are on ‘The Bachelorette’

Tuesday night’s Bachelorette episode was an emotional whirlwind. Although I expected a low-key episode as the finale of this week’s two-night spectacle, it turned out completely the opposite. Rachel Lindsay said goodbye to men on dates (I’m heartbroken over Will, btw), Kenny King chose to leave because he wasn’t ready to introduce his daughter to Rachel, Lee Garrett was finally eliminated, and Rubik’s cube solver Alex Bordyukov was surprisingly sent home in favor of two randoms, Matt Munson and Adam Gottschalk.

Now, easily forgettable contestants making it further than they should is a normal Bachelor Nation occurrence. Why else do we watch the Men Tell All specials, if not to swear that that guy in the back row never stepped foot in the mansion? But when two guys who still get us saying, “Who is that?” this late in the competition keep getting roses, we have a serious problem.

Luckily, the Bachelorette fans of Twitter understand this dilemma and have no problem expressing just how clueless everyone is about Matt and Adam. Below are 10 of the best tweets summing up how we all feel about these mysterious Bachelorette men.

We’re all waiting for proof that Rachel has more chemistry with these two than any of the guys sent home at rose ceremonies.

When your competition are guys like Peter and Dean, it’s easy to get lost in the crowd.

But Rach, your babies with Alex would be so smart!

It’s bad news when I still know Adam as “Puppet Guy” and the first time I heard Matt speak was tonight when he and Rachel discussed not themselves, but Kenny’s well-being.

Obviously Rachel sees something we don’t.

If anything, this basically confirms the guys who make it to the final four and hometown dates (hint: not Matt and Adam).

To be fair, I’ve always found Adam cute, but the fact that the most airtime he got this week was when he wore a Viking costume is definitely concerning.

Expect a repeat of this at the aforementioned Men Tell All.

ABC, I expect the same injustice of no exit interview delivered to Matt when he is inevitably cut.

Let the knowledge that these men are sure to be off our TV screens by next week comfort us in our struggles.
