Taylor Swift Secretly Wrote ‘This Is What You Came For’ Under a Fake Name

With Taylor Swift’s romance with Tom Hiddleston dominating headlines, Calvin Harris has started to become a distant memory—just another name on Taylor’s “long list of ex-lovers.” That is, until news broke today that Swift and Harris were professionally involved while they were dating.

Unless you’re too cool for the top 40, you’ve probably heard Harris’s summer single “This Is What You Came For,” which features vocals from Rihanna. While Taylor’s name was initially nowhere near the song, a mysterious Nils Sjoberg is credited as a writer. After much speculation, Swift’s rep has confirmed the pop star not only wrote the hit but also used the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg to cover up her involvement with the track.

After the top-secret details of their collab were revealed, Harris took to Twitter to respond.

He began his heated rant by praising Swift’s talent: “And she sings on a little bit of it too. Amazing lyric writer and she smashed it as usual.” But he quickly went on to slam Taylor and her team, accusing them of trying to tear him down.

Why the two decided they couldn’t collaborate publicly is beyond us. A Tayvin duet probably would have been even more popular than the RiRi version. Now that the cat’s out of the bag, we’re clamoring to hear the original demo with Tay’s vocals. Anyone else?
