Raven Symone’s sexuality has been the topic of rumors in Hollywood for a few years now. She effectively shut them all down in 2011 when she tweeted, “I’m living my PERSONAL life the way I’m happiest. I’m not one, in my 25 year career to disclose who I’m dating. and I shall not start now.” However, our favorite Cheetah Girl is back on Twitter, and she’s out. In favor of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to cease the ban on gay marriage, Symone tweeted today, “I can finally get married! Yay government! So proud of you.”
However, just because Symone can get married doesn’t mean she will any time soon. In an exclusive statement to E! News, Symone said, “I am very happy that gay marriage is opening up around the country and is being accepted. I was excited to hear today that more states legalized gay marriage. I, however am not currently getting married, but it is great to know I can now, should I wish to.” That’s so Raven? More like, that’s so freaking awesome. All the power to you, Raven; just know that when you do get married, Her Campus would love an invite.
