Rachel Lindsay Just Spoiled Her Own Season of ‘The Bachelorette’

Spoilers are something Bachelorette fans have to deal with every season, but rarely do we get them from the lead of the show. During a call with reporters on Thursday, Rachel Lindsay revealed, “I am very much so in love and very much so engaged.”

While we don’t yet know who the lucky man is, Rachel did offer this hint about her fiancé. “I would definitely say that he checks—if I had a list, he would check everything off.” I’m already shipping this couple, and I don’t even know who I’m rooting for!

And though Rachel seems sure in her decision, she does want to spend time getting to know her fiancé after the show airs. Heeding advice she received from her predecessor, JoJo Fletcher, Rachel’s in no rush to head to the altar. Rather she plans to focus on cultivating her relationship.

In the meantime, she’s gearing up for the difficult period ahead, when, to keep her final pick a secret, the newly engaged pair won’t see each other as much as they’d like. “It’s hard when you’re so excited about something that you can’t share it with everyone. It’s really hard,” she told us. “But we just make sure that we communicate with each other all the time, and, I mean, that’s really all that you can do.”

So is this Rachel’s happy ending? According to the Bachelorette, yes! But to find out how she gets there, you’ll have to tune in.

The Bachelorette premieres Monday, May 22, at 9/8c.
