Oprah Had a ‘Wonder Woman’ Party for a Bunch of 10-Year-Olds & Forgot to Invite Me

Tuesday, June 13 was no ordinary day at Oprah Winfrey’s house. It was Wonder Woman Day, and the excited party host blessed all of our Instagram feeds with a series of videos as she prepared for the Wonder Woman-themed party she threw for 28 10-year-olds. The videos were complete with party favors, a Gal Gadot-inspired cake and lots of Oprah-like talk-singing and clapping.

The host began by placing a Wonder Woman figure on top of the cake she received from Charm City Cakes. “This is the crowning moment,” Oprah said while holding the figurine. “Wondeeer Womaaan! Happy Wonder Woman Day!”

Gal Gadot showed her approval by regramming the video and posting it to Twitter. “This is awesome!” she captioned both posts.

And the fun just kept coming. Oprah went on to post several more videos, giving us an inside look at her party favors, including popcorn buckets, Wonder Woman cuffs and flip flops. Her adorable furry friend Sadie, who wasn’t too sure about the Wonder Woman festivities, even made an appearance!

And of course, you can’t throw a good party without some delicious food. Oprah ended the series of videos with one last look at the shindig and the cooks who were preparing a butter lettuce salad for the parents and some “beautiful hamburgers and hot dogs” for the kiddos.

After watching all these videos and experiencing some major FOMO, we know one thing’s for sure: there ain’t no party like an Oprah Winfrey Wonder Woman party.
