Nicki Minaj closed out the Time 100 Gala last night but gave out a really weeeeird dedication before performing the ever-amazing “Anaconda.” Actually, weird doesn’t even begin to cover it, since she dedicated the song to Joe Biden and Donald (freaking) Trump.
Say what?
“I’m very political, and I would like to dedicate a song, just in the spirit of unity, to Joe Biden and Donald Trump,” she announced, and then altered her own song lyrics to include Trump’s name in the first verse and Biden’s in the second. That’s definitely not what we expected to happen, but it’s Nicki Minaj, so maybe we should reconsider our feelings toward the 2016 presidential candidate.
“Do you think they like that song?” Minaj asked after “Anaconda” ended. Of course, that wasn’t the only question on her mind.
“Who do you think likes the biggest butts, Donald Trump or Joe Biden?” she laughed. Personally, we’d put all our money on Trump but who really knows.
