This New ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Teaser Has Us All Kinds of Freaked Out

Season six of Pretty Little Liars ended a couple of months ago, and as usual, we were left with more questions than answers. Between discovering Jessica DiLaurentis has a twin sister who is Charlotte’s real mother, finding out Alison’s husband is plotting against her, and seeing Hanna’s unconscious body being dragged away by a mysterious figure, we’re more confused than ever.

Well, it looks like we’ll be getting our questions answered sooner than we thought. Yesterday, a teaser for season seven was posted on PLL’s official Instagram page, announcing the show’s return next month. From what they’ve decided to share with us, it seems clear that someone is going to die—or more specifically, be murdered.

In the short clip from the upcoming season, Aria, Emily and Spencer are seen digging what can only be assumed is a grave. Emily is on the verge of tears, saying, “I don’t know if I can live with this.” Spencer, in her signature matter-of-fact tone, says, “This is the only way. When it ends like this, it’s called murder.”

With the hashtag “Save Hanna” in the caption, it seems like this season will be focused on the three girls attempting to save their friend from “A” (or, as they’re now signing their texts, “A.D.”). The show’s creator Marlene King and Ashley Benson, who plays Hanna, have both insinuated that none of the girls are safe from getting killed off, so Hanna could very well be the one getting murdered this season. However, as all long-time fans of the show know, nothing is as it seems in Rosewood. All we can do now is tune in for the season premiere on June 21 and hope all our questions will be answered.
