Although March 25 is a sad day for One Direction fans with it being the anniversary of Zayn leaving the group, it turned out to be a pretty amazing day for one other member of the group: Liam Payne.
Yesterday, Liam and Cheryl Cole, the adorable couple that met on the X-Factor all those years ago, posted the first picture of their newborn baby boy and it will literally make your heart melt.
In Liam’s post, he gives credit to Cheryl for being amazing and that he is “completely in awe of his [the baby’s] incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she’s really made my dreams come true.” He also added that he is “incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it’s a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favorite memory I have so far.”
In Cheryl’s post, she revealed the baby was actually born on March 22nd but kept it under wraps for a few days, saying “on Wednesday 22nd March Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 9 and looking like a dream. Although he still doesn’t have a name he is already stealing hearts. We are all madly in love and overwhelmingly happy with our little arrival.” The couple never actually made a statement to the public about the pregnancy so it’s no surprise that they wanted to maintain some privacy.
Although the baby boy does not have a name yet I am sure it is going to be something adorable and fabulous because obviously. Congratulations to the new parents!
