It’s not Christmas until you get an official family photo with your bae. This year, ELLE shows us that once again Miley Cyrus wins at everything as she smiles in front of her Christmas tree with a pair of pink sweatpants, slipper socks, a killer headband and her number one man, Liam Hemsworth. After all the personal history and tabloid stories between Liam and Miley, it’s inspiring to see a young couple learn, grow and share a family Christmas with renewed confidence. Their pure passion for making each other happy is just the kind of holiday cheer that keeps us positive through a wintry whirlwind of stress.

If only we could all bring an A-list hottie home to stave off the family interrogations. In the meantime, we’ll party all weekend with cozy loungewear and a messy updo because we can’t stop and we won’t stop.

Katy Palmer is an LA-based creative professional. She earned a B.A. in Screenwriting from the LMU School of Film and Television. She went on to work in various production roles for shows like Top Chef, Shark Tank, The Voice, American Idol, and The Bachelor. She has cast commercials for companies like Bayer Healthcare, Fantastic Sams, Scotts MiracleGro, and WD-40. During her post-grad time in Colorado, she co-founded the Denver chapter of the Freelancers Union, a branch of the national organization to support and protect independent workers across the country.
